Rainy Dayz

Yesterday was a rainy day and luckily I was able to spend most of the day inside. Apparently Sunday River got 3-4 inches of snow, but who knows how much rain fell afterwards. I realized one major difference between last year and this year was the lack of rain storms up north. It seems like it rained a lot more by this point last year. Speaking of rain I am hoping it doesn't rain on Friday while we are moving. I moved once before in the rain and it wasn't a fun experience.

On Thursday night we are going to begin moving stuff and hopefully getting through most of it, so on Friday we will only have a few odds and ends to move. In an effort to make things go smoothly I would like to ask you all for help in our moving effort. We already have a few people coming by, but I wanted to see if I could get some more people to speed things along. For those that do end up helping not only will you get to see our new apartment, but we will also be purchasing some pizzas for consumption after the move. We aren't necessarily trying to move everything, but just what we can move before 9 PM.

I have turned the message board back on so you can post comments about who is available.

Hope to see you there!!!

Good Friday

Once again its Good Friday and I have the day off. So since I hate having nothing to do on a weekday I am leaving in a few minutes for a lovely day of skiing in Maine. Now I know I should be home packing this weekend since we are moving in a short seven days from now, but I won't be able to ski next weekend so I figured it best to get some skiing in now. The temperature up in Maine should be in the mid 40's and perfect weather for a ski day. I can't wait. I also can't wait for next Friday, it will be so nice to be in a place that will feel more like its all mine. Don't get me wrong it was a good experience living with the girls, but I definitely prefer having the run of the house i.e. I can eat whatever food is in the cabinet, I don't have to worry about being late to work because I had to wait for the shower. I started to get nervous about all the moving and how long it will take, but really it is so close that I don't think it will take too long.

Oh yeah I almost forgot, last night I went to Border Cafe with Britt, Becky and Vanessa. I had a ton of fun, it was good to see you girls, you will definitely have to stop by the new place sometime next month.

Have a great weekend everybody!!!!

A Herd Of Camels Resting

It was another beautiful weekend up at Sunday River. It was sunny and warm both days although due to lack of wind yesterday it was certainly the better of the two days. We had Aldis, Jason and TJ up this weekend and it certainly made the weekend that much better. Saturday night we went out to the Phoenix after skiing. I really love going there for Apres ski. For dinner we stayed in and made a lasagna and played board games. Sunday morning we all woke up and made breakfast together and just had a lovely time. The skiing was fantastic with soft spring like conditions all over the mountain. I actually skied without my backpack yesterday and forgot how great it felt to hit the bumps. Now I have a sunburn on my face and it really smarts. I need to remember to wear sunscreen next week.

Here are a couple movies we made yesterday:
Keeg on Lost Princess
TJ on Lost Princess
Mark on Northern Exposure

Mark and TJ in the Enchanted Forest
Mark and TJ on the way to 3D
Mark on 3D

Mark, TJ, Kate and Doug on 3D

Looks like a long weekend coming up since I have Good Friday off. I hope the weather stays nice.
10 days until we start moving in!!!

New Apartment

Last night Jennifer and I went to our new apartment to do measurements and also to take some New Apartment Pictures. We were there for an hour or so and measured nearly everything in the place. There is also a movie I might try to upload later on today. It is very exciting that in less than two weeks we will have our stuff all moved in over there. I can't wait!!!

Since my last entry not much else has gone on, besides a lot of work at my new job and BoCaNO. Oh yeah Jennifer and I did go out for Ethiopian food on Tuesday and it was pretty good. We both agreed afterwards though that for the price we could certainly expect more food than we received. Plus my hands smelled of spicy food for the rest of the week, which I didn't really enjoy.

Tonight I am going up to Maine for the weekend. It sounds like a picture perfect spring skiing weekend, sunny with highs in the 40's. It might be time to leave the backpack at home.

Have a great weekend,
Keegan

UNBELIEVABLE!!!

The last week has been crazy and I don't really have enough time now to update everything that has gone on. Here is a brief bulleted summary.
- Two weekends ago had an amazing weekend in Somerville with Jennifer. I spent an afternoon in Harvard Square. We went to see a movie and then had dinner. On Sunday we went to the North End for lunch.
- Started work last week. I am really fitting in and haven't had much trouble getting situated.
- Fun BoCaNO at Emmet's Pub. They really have been good lately.
- Went to a Suffolk University event with Marisa. Met a bunch of strange people including a close talker.
- Jennifer and I drove up to Maine on Saturday night in the snow.
- Saturday I skied with Andy almost all day. The snow was amazing and the trails we found were even better.
- Saturday night went to the Phoenix for an Amesbury reunion of sorts and then ate a fantastic dinner at Legends.
- Skied with Mark, Kate and Andy on Sunday. The weather was perfect and the snow was also stellar. Skied Emerald City for the first time.
- Drove home last night and stopped in Kittery to do some clothes shopping. I finally got some new pants and a couple green shirts.
- Met up with John, Suha, Scottie and Julie in Brookline. It was great to see them for the first time in like a year. We played trivia.
- Learned the name of the new Dave Matthews Band album. It is to be called Stand Up. More details to follow.

Now for a couple movies.

Last Day

Today is my last day in the MFS group here at State Street. On Monday I officially start my first full day over at my new position. I have always thought when this day comes I would be sad, but it is truly not the case. The prospects of a new job, new building, new desk and new people is just overwhelming. It will be a huge adjustment getting used to the set up over there, but in time I am sure I will know where everything just as well as I know things here now. If you are going to be in Boston tonight we are all going to the West Street Grille after work for a few drinks.

BoCaNO Pictures

I don't really have time to make much of an entry, but I wanted to put up pictures from BoCaNO last night. We got our asses kicked at trivia night. Oh well!!! Is the winter over yet?
